    Founding Principal

    Hendrik DeMello sees architecture as a high calling and his life’s passion. With a dedication to exceptional design and dedicated service, he began his own practice in 1996 after serving as lead designer and director of architecture at a local firm for 15 years. DeMello Architecture is founded on Mr. DeMello’s philosophy that an architect’s commitment is not only to his profession, but also to his client’s interests.

    Mr. DeMello’s attention to client relations and comprehensive knowledge of design and project management is a key factor in the success of his practice. Under his leadership, DeMello Architecture provides clients with creative, interesting designs that are both visually appealing and practical.

    An active member of the community, he currently serves as President Elect of the Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise, on the City of Boca Raton’s Zoning Board of Adjustments, and volunteers for several local charities. The firm has also donated its services to Ronald McDonald House Charities and Habitat for Humanity.

Our motto, Design with Purpose serves as daily inspiration to create designs that delight the client both aesthetically and practically. The philosophy of maintaining a commitment to our craft along with the client’s interest drives the firm to pursue excellence in design and service. From conception and design to construction administration, our experts guide clients through the life of the project. The firm’s diverse project portfolio includes residential homes, commercial offices, restaurants, schools and churches – to name a few. Our commercial clients include TGI Fridays, Panda Express and Wendy’s. At DeMello Architecture, we value the relationships we build with clients, as it is the key to our success.
